Had a beverage only in the restaurant, but the server ( Heidi ?) was celebrating her birthday the next day, and was super sweet and cheery !! "One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at, period. We were lucky to get checked in by the general manager who was an excellent and empathetic communicator. In the short time we were there, we got to observe the staff and how they interacted as a team to provide a great experience for guests. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. Yes, the place needs some cosmetic upgrades, but the present condition does not impact comfort or safety in the least."
