"As a young Canadian couple, we definitely felt the mood was a little old-school and maybe not as warm as anticipated. Nothing was wrong with our stay, it simply didn’t feel as cool or luxurious as we would have liked. Also, very few foreigners were staying at the hotel. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the private tatami room and private onsen bath with a great view on Ito Be careful: guest with tattoos can’t access the communal onsen."
