Breakfast is awful. The new year Eve's dinner was of low quality given the high price paid for it. The champagne shown in the counter was reserved for the staff. No drink was included in the meal. Wi-fi is unstable. The place is very remote vis-a-vis the center of the village.

We have stayed here before, the rooms are lovely, a great beach and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The one complaint is that the main pool was out of action for the whole week of our stay. It was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel a second time. There was no offer of recompense for the inconvenience.

Overall, the hotel is good to excellent. However, the breakfast buffet needs significant improvement. Almost every morning, the 'hot' buffet section food was cold. Sometimes there was butter for toast, other times there was not. Pancakes were served, but nothing provided to put on the pancakes (maple syrup for example). We have stayed at other hotels in Holbox with breakfast buffets, and this buffet was the worse. Other than that, the hotel is excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at My Blue Hotel. We liked the fact it was not in the main town being in a quiet area on the beach. The 15 minute walk to the main town area was good exercise. The rooms were perfect and the hotel provided everything we needed. The staff were excellent and never stopped working to keep everything spotless. The breakfast was substantial but if you arrived late in the breakfast session the hot food was starting to go cold as the spirit burners underneath had gone out, the breakfast team needs to re-light these as and when they fail.

The property is great located - 15 minutes walk from the town and away of noise and busy streets. I had some issues with my room door but the staff took care of it immediately. Once in Holbox, I was looking around for another hotel for my future visits but I think this is a great option for me. I am planning to take my husband back very soon. Service is great, beach is right there, vendors offering you mangoes, empanadas, and souvenirs. Ahh yes, the dogs at the beach, totally unleashed! The whole laid back Mexican experience. To the hotel management I would like to recommend to keep maintaining your facilities. They are great in the correct spot with amazing staff !!!

The property is Brand new, it has everything you need for a hotel. just remember that this is an island, sometimes the electricity goes off in the entire island, the internet also, so, it is not to blame the hotel. The beach in the hotel is superb, nothing compares to it, beautiful. I would recomend this hotel to everyone.

Beautiful new hotel! Too bad the employees aren’t trained. We arrived and they didn’t know anything about our reservation, waited twice for our rooms to be ready. Then we were offered a bottle of whine to stay in a regular room when we had a ocean view…Very slow and bad service at the restaurant. There’s only 1 Argentine waiter that knows how to serve : Augustín I think was his name. Everyone else needs serous training. Not coming back. The way they charge for the rooms and return our deposit is so confusing. Hopefully we get our deposit money back, cause the voucher says “00” instead of -2,000 for each room. For the rooms you need trash cans and something for your folded clothes.

Väldigt bra det mesta. Bra strand (framförallt om man jämför med de andra hotellen längs stranden). Dock besviken över frukosten, det var väldigt mycket myggor vid buffén samt fåglar som störde/var snabba på hämta rester.

Das Hotel ist die perfekte Wahl, wenn man einerseits eine ruhige Unterkunft an einem schönen und sauberen Strandabschnitt haben möchte, andererseits aber auch die Restaurants von Holbox erkunden möchte. Man läuft ca 10 Minuten am Strand entlang zur Stadt. Auch in der Nacht sicher und schön. Nur die Zimmer könnten etwas praktischer ausgestattet sein - es gibt z.B. keinen Zahnputzbecher oder Halter für Handtücher am Waschbecken. Zudem keine Kosmetiktücher. Das Frühstück ist OK, aber eher langweilig und von allen Hotels in denen wir in Yucatan waren das einfachste. Aber wir würden gerne wiederkommen- auch wegen des netten Personals.
