"It was very nice and the staff were helpful but the area was inconvenient as it was a few kilometers from central station. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay and recommend this Holiday Inn to those seeking an affordable hotel."

"The Savoia Excelsior Palace offers a unique and elegant experience with its timeless charm. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent, walkable to almost everything and just steps away from the beach. Valet parking is available, though retrieving the car can take a little time. During our stay, only one elevator was operational, which occasionally caused delays. The lobby is absolutely stunning, and the breakfast was one of the best we've had,both in quality and variety. Our room lacked an iron and ironing board, which would have been convenient, but overall, this was a memorable and refined stay. A great choice for those who appreciate classic luxury and a prime location."

"Excellent location, 3min walk from the river with lots of places to eat and drink. The map on here is wrong - it’s only 1.5 blocks from the river. Very clean, nice staff. Bed was extremely comfortable and room was super quiet. We had a castle view with balcony. Couldn’t fault the room at all. Service was good. Breakfast was decent although sometimes the hot food was barely warm. Would happily stay again. Let them organise a transfer to/from the airport (50€) or book a shuttle - absolutely do not get a taxi outside the airport terminal, there is a huge problem with fake taxis in the city. We followed all the advice, took one that was marked from the correct place and which had a meter… and it still cost 72€ as the meter was dodgy and they applied a 12€ “dodanek” extra. Just let the hotel sort out the transfer or pay for one separately, do not get a taxi from the rank "
