"There was no air conditioning, only heater. They only cleaned the room 1x in my whole 5-day stay. Receptionist was friendly especially those in charge of luggage drop (after checkin). Location was good, just a few steps away from Don Quijote."

"You have to turn your key in everyday if you want the room clean. Actually is nice as you won't have the room key in your pocket all day. "

"Great location just 10 min walk from c6 exit at ikebukuro station on the west side. West side is quieter than east side which is great for accommodation. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There is a coin laundry around the corner open 24 hours which is convenient. We stayed in a twin bed room and it was one of the largest rooms I've stayed in a hotel in japan. I would stay here again."

"The area is good except late at night, you will get approached by girls holding signs or guys with earpieces. The staff is very strict about enforcing hotel rules. The room is very good and has everything you need."

"Chose to stay in Ikebukuro for once instead of the usual hotspots like Shinjuku and Shibuya. Great location right next to escalators leading to the train station, options to eat nearby and decent sized room with space to actually open our suitcases, unlike other shoebox sized hotels in Japan where we've struggled to do barely that. Also had an extra suitcase delivered via courier on our second day which they were more than happy to accept and advise us it had arrived when we came back to our...
