The staff were friendly and dealt with issues. Room and pool were very nice. We had a problem with our room’s wifi and were eventually given another room. There were some bad smells in parts of the hotel. No towels or mats in the gym. Hot water in our room took 10 minutes or not at all. There is no beach where the hotel is located. The buffet had lots of selection but unfortunately a lot of the hot food was cold.

Room service was outstanding. The food was outstanding loved everything I ate, 4 restaurants to choose from, the Italian risotto,s were amazing and I had the whole place to myself. Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort for $55 a night for a marvelous sea view.

The good ; the pools were great and very clean probably the major drawcard for this hotel.The Staff were very pleasant.The breakfast is good .All bathroom and toilet facilities were clean and tidy.Compliments to the grounds keepers the plants were very pleasant . The not so good ; pigeon poo ; the room was 3 star old but clean and only had a tiny balcony with only one chair disappointing when payed for sea view .

It should be nice like its look.
I booked this hotel for my vacation and also to join an event at cha am beach. This hotel looks nice outside as well as pictures on website. The service at lobby is good and our first thought was to come back to this hotel again. However, the rests about this hotel are disappointed. With this price, other hotel's facilities and cleanliness are much better. Blanket is also full of dust. I felt so itchy and kept coughing. This is so terrible. Another terrible thing is the color of the water in the bathroom. When we turned it on, the color is brown like rusty in the water pipe. The staff told us that it is because not many people had used hot water and so the pipe is rusty. REALLY??? The staff who had visited our room told us to keep open the water until the color is clear. After 30 minutes, the color is still light brown. The only solution is that we have to wash our face with drinking water. Last one, the service during breakfast is also terrible. waitress should be trained again. We waited for long time for our table to be cleaned. Our table was cleaned after they finished cleaning another smaller table which has no one waiting for it. The quality of the food is not good as well.

Very few directions or advice about hotel facilties and even in the lift no indication on what floor the swimming pool or restaraunts where on nor in the room. Nice hotel but lacking in customer service tends to large amount of Chinese groups which is obviuosly there core buisness. Would I stay again, probably not unless customer service is improved and information to hand.
