This was a pretty hotel with a convenience store on the same block. Nice room. Elevators were a bit slow. Parking garage had a steep entrance, but was right under the hotel. Mile walk to the beach. We got used to it.

I love this Hotel and stay here every year. It's close to the active part of the beach, but also convenient location to visit Ala Moana center or the sughts in Downtown Honolulu, if you're a walker. If not, the city bus stops just a few feet from the hotel's front door, and it will take you to AM Center where you can hop on ma dif bus to take you to almost anywhere on the island. The people at the Palms have always been kind and helpful. And the roons are nicely appointed and always kept clean.

This is a great inexpensive place to stay! Aside from the shower water pressure is not that great, our room was tidy but not that clean. There were stains on the couch , and the floor was dirty . The staff was great they moved us to a new room and got a cleaner room but still the water pressure for the shower was still not that great. Other than that it’s still a great place to stay for the price and pretty close to stores and the Waikiki strip . For the price it’s a great way to save money

The photos and reality do not align. Whatever room spray was happening smelled like disinfectant and was overwhelming. Staff was wonderful. We ate at the neighboring IHOP and were joined by a cockroach. No thanks.

Very convenient for getting picked up for tours. IHOP attached was handy for early morning breakfast. Over a decent place for a couple of days.
