"We had an amazing stay at the frangipani villa, which is one of the Zog villas. The staff was super helpful and was able to accommodate all our requests. The managers Ms M and Ms Chonny were prompt in their responses and they made special arrangements for my birthday celebration at the villa, including a private chef . "A surprising small resort with huge rooms. I needed only a stopover before heading out of the ferry the next day. This was much more than I needed as a solo traveler but for the price you can’t beat it. Only a 10 or 15 minute drive from the Nathan Pier. "
"Beautiful relaxing property. Lovely blend of thai design and luxury in a stunning setting. Far enough away for our family to relax, but still walkable to local eateries. We'd love to come back, and the staff were fantastic. "
"This is a gem in Ko Samui. It is a serene and beautiful property with high-quality dining options and delicious cocktails. The spa offers highly recommended services. The resort staff is very experienced and friendly. "
"Small but spacious resort right on waterfront of beach, stunning gardens and rooms, perfect for us, would definetly come again, easy walking along beach to fishermans village."
"This is a wonderful boutique hotel set on a gorgeous sandy beach. The gardens and pool are beautiful. It’s a very quiet relaxing place with very friendly, helpful staff. There are two kayaks and a paddleboard available free of charge. There is a hotel spa that offers massages on the beach and also a massage place on the beach next to the hotel. The hotel restaurant is very good. For more choice, the Intercontinental Hotel is next door and there are a couple of restaurants just a short walk...
"Overall a very nice place, we had a front side bungalow that was located directly to the beach that probably was part of our positive experience. Friendly and positive staff.
Not many restaurants around the hotel so you need to get a ride or hire a scooter to get around."

"We had an amazing stay in our own villa with private pool. Super friendly and helpful staff."

Complementary breakfast included fresh fruits, some bakery goods, yogurt and juice. Since the villas are located at an altitude, you absolutely require a vehicle to get you to the nearest shops or attractions. My family of four, including my husband and 2 children, really enjoyed our quiet time at the villa. We rented an suv which made it easier to move around the island. "
"This is our 4th time in this hotel, but last time was several years ago so there are many improvements- the rooms has been modernised, new restaurant menu, new area with swimming pool, a gym and Thai boxing added, and a spa. But the main character of the property is maintained- being a very relaxed, beautiful seaside hotel. All staff are extremely helpful and friendly too, no ask too big. We will be back again soon, thank you xx"

"This is a unique experience. It’s truly a beautiful place. Perhaps 8-10 other guests while we were there. We only spent time in the room to sleep. When we weren’t out on excursions we were sitting at the beautiful infinity pool with the most incredible view. Staff are super genuine and kind though a little young and inexperienced. Check in and check out needs some improvement. Beware of the very steep driveway. I would not try to do that at night without seeing it first in daylight and I drive mountains in ice and snow every winter. Aside from these minor issues it was an amazing experience. Five star luxury without the pretentious BS of a crowded, more expensive resort."
"We stayed at Sea Valley Resort for four nights, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. While we were aware that the resort was remote when we booked, we didn’t anticipate just how isolated it would be—there were no decent restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance.
The food at the resort was bland and not worth the price. Additionally, I expected better cleanliness; our bed sheets weren’t changed throughout our stay. The only cleaning service we received was a new set of large towels and beach towels (not the small ones) and emptying the rubbish bin.
On our first night, the water stopped working in the middle of my shower, but they did manage to fix it in about 30 minutes. However, we continued to have issues with the hot water. We had booked a family villa with a swimming pool, but the water was visibly unclean, so we chose not to use it.
The massage service onsite and the ocean view from the restaurant were the only highlights of our stay. Overall, the resort feels quite outdated and in need of improvement. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday in a nice resort, I recommend seeking alternatives."
