"Motel layout - the room was nice and clean, bed and pillows were super comfortable. Fast food and stores nearby. Little river out back. Plenty of parking space. Staff was easy to check-in and check-out with. Water pressure in the shower was good, plenty of hot water, drain worked great. Toilet flush was powerful. TV with a bunch of cable channels worked great. There was a VCR which I did not use. Had a fridge which I used, and a microwave and coffee maker I did not use. Small desk with chair and another comfy chair - didn't really need these for my stay. All good - no complaints for what was a quick 2-night stay for me where I really just slept and cleaned up each night/morning."

"Excellent staff, very attentive! The beds were very comfortable, showers had great pressure and good hot water. Breakfast was fantastic and I would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area again! We saw a concert in town at Infinity Hall, a real treasure of a venue, plus we hiked to the top of Haystack Mountain (state park) and enjoyed the beautiful 360 views from atop the tower built on its peak. Also, we hiked to Campbell Falls state park. The concert hall and the two hikes I consider “must do’s” if you’re in the area! There’s probably a lot more attractions in the vicinity, but we were only in the area for 24 hours, so we packed in what we could!"

"My daughter and I had a wonderful time in New Milford and at the Homestead Inn. First and foremost, the staff was wonderful and welcoming. We were greeted upon arrival and Antonio offered many helpful suggestions regarding area eateries and things to do - even places to park on our side trip to Yale in New Haven! Catherine was also very accommodating, going to extra lengths to assure that my daughter with food allergies was safe. The property was very clean and the area very charming. Restaurants, shops, etc. all walkable."
