Lovely Inn, Great Management

The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The grounds and common areas are warm and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. But probably the best part was the owner, Mark. He was available, attentive and personable. He even surprised me with non-gluten options at breakfast after I asked him about GF restaurant options for dinner in Kent the night before. Would stay there again.

Overall our stay at the Inn was very good, the Inn is conveniently located just outside the town of Kent in the center of the Litchfield Hills Region of Northwestern Connecticut. Beautiful area, lots to see and do. Enjoyed an excellent complementary continental breakfast buffet each morning. There is a slightly irregular outside stairway to a couple of upper level rooms which might require a little extra caution

Cornwall Inn is a True Gem

We had another fabulous stay at the Cornwall Inn. The hospitality is outstanding and the daily breakfast delicious! This area of NW CT is beautiful anytime of the year and staying in this lovely authentic inn will truly enhance your trip.

Very quaint property. Excellent staff - warm & friendly. Nice continental breakfast. The building is a tad noisy, but that's to be expected with an old wood building. Would definitely book again if we stay in the area again.

Cornwall Inn and Lodge was a gem! We were visiting my cousin and found the Inn to be a lovely spot in a special part of Conn. Mark and Stacey are great hosts and the buffet breakfasts were delicious. Would highly recommend a visit.

We loved our stay at the Cornwall Inn. The staff was excellent and always ready to be of help. However, there were two problems: in the entryway between the buffet breakfast area and the sign-in area I fell on the raised area of the floor (I was not hurt). We asked that the area be marked, and it was immediately, But perhaps something more permanent should be done to prevent any further falls. Secondly, the stairs up to Lodge 7 were very difficult to navigate. Anything you could do to make them smoother and the handrails better would really be a help.

Stacey and Mark are wonderful hosts at this delightful B & B. They made wonderful suggestions for our dinner and local attractions. Homemade banana bread and GF coffee cakes added to the fine breakfast. We loved it!
