"This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. When we left, the property had no damage despite high winds and flooding rainfall. At checkout, the staff could not print a receipt for us but promised to email us one when the electricity was restored. They were also allowing guests to wait out the storm in the lobby and breakfast areas. Overall, we were highly impressed by Mountain Inn and Suites, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a restful getaway."
