Fantastic hotel that provides 5 star service. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On our second night there was a bit of hammering somewhere near us but otherwise it was a quiet enough hotel. The rooftop is one of, if not the best in Barcelona. Would love to go back one day.

We stayed in the apartment part of the Hotel which is just across the street. We loved our stay; the place had a nice kitchen, living room and spacious rooms. The hotel is in a central area and we were able to walk to the Sagrada familia and Montjuic and ramblas. The rooftop bar is a must try. Staff were friendly and always helpful.

The hotel was beautiful and definitely had history. I had hoped for a more grand lobby experience. The new pool was fab though small and the rooftop pool was beyond tiny but nice for the kids. The room was large and much of it was nice but the furniture was very old and seemed very dirty and we didn't want the kids to sit on it and really didn't want to ourselves either -- sofas need replaced/ updated. Its in the BEST area and that was the best part probably. The place is packed and tough to get support from Concierge. The worst part was their WIFI. It was HORRIBLE. They even gave us an individual hotspot for our room and it was just as bad as hotel wifi. They definitely need to improve the WIfi. Great housekeeping staff -- They were the best part!

A great location, but be careful. Two parts of this hotel, one on the main stretch but apartments are across the road and have an earlier check out time vs the main hotel. Wooden veneer hotel keys were not the best at getting doors to open first time. In the appartment service is slow. 45 mins to request extra towels and no shower gel in one of the showers. Seating areas on entrance to the main hotel can do with a deep upholstery clean.
