"We stayed for three nights over New Years, 2025. We were in the hotel when the tragedy occured on Bourbon street. Hotel workers seemed uninformed about what was going on and were unable to add any input on how to traverse the city. The hotel was nice, 2 of the three rooms we had were very nice. One room was on the inside with no windows, which I felt was odd. One room overlooked Canal Street, street noise was an issue, but understandable with the goings on. "They gave us a much bigger room than we expected. There was a section of carpet missing where it met the tile. Something sharp was sticking up and I stepped on it a few times. This was room 259. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay. The staff was really helpful in looking out for missing luggage that took a couple of days to arrive from the airport. Lucy at the front desk was very kind in making sure we got it when it showed up. I also like the money we saved with free breakfast. The concierges were...

"Good location. About a 7 min walk to the football/basketball arena. And also about a 7 min walk to Canal St. There are some homeless people down the street by the bus stop as well as a few sketchy looking people, but other than that I felt completely safe. "
