There was no parking when we arrived to check in to the hotel. Which resulted to us having to go up block to another street to a parkade which then resulted to us missing our dinner reservation. I understand it’s a public lot but there should be designates spaces for guests. The man directing traffic for the hotel was not friendly either. Luckily when checking in we dealt with Jenn. She was lovely and gave us a dining credit. However if they are going to expect guest to park off site, they should have staff assist with luggage. The next morning after checking out, we were carrying our bags and while walking to the parkade I had my sweater stolen right off of my luggage. Overall not a great birthday trip for my girlfriend.

I’ve stayed here a few times. I don’t know everyone’s financial situational. But I imagine this is a step below the Home Alone 2 type hotels. I’m very middle class with a state job, and this place feels like self care. I’ve stayed at a few pretty nice places in Seattle but I’ve yet to go back to them ever since I first stayed at the Regency.

Nice hotel with good location, walking distance to Capitol Hill, and downtown to Pike Market. The parking is expensive but that’s downtown Seattle. Our room was spacious, clean, very large TV and working mini fridge. It also had a small work desk space with a chair.
