"If you are in Eugene to visit the University of Oregon Hayward Inn is a good choice. I wouldn't say the nearby dining options are great but they are good. Track Town Pizza right next door has very good pizza and next to Track Town Pizza is a Starbucks. I don't think of the area as being especially walkable because the hotel is located on Franklin Boulevard which is six Lanes wide and very busy"

"The staff were young and not real experienced at answering questions about the hotel or area. One person at the front desk told me to hold on while she wrote a note. Five minutes later she left the note to talk with a coworker forgetting that I was waiting for her to finish the note to ask my question.
