Disney's Maingate East hotel rooms a the Independent

"The offered VIP perk was $200 from Vacation Village if I did the 4hr timeshare tour and your spouse must attend. We had our 2 young grandchildren with us. Not really a perk. We declined. The A/C wasnt working. They sent someone quickly and fixed it. Everyone was very nice there. The condo was dated. Everything seemed clean and worked. The pool was nice. Two of the pools were shut for maintenance for a few hours. They opened them back up. We would stay again. "

"Our stay was with our family and 3 kiddos. Plenty of space to run and have fun. The room was clean, staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Breakfeast was good and pleasant. "

"Very clean and comfortable. There is a dollar tree and Aldi grocery right beside the hotel. Lots of restaurants and Krispy Kreme donuts within walking distance. Great kids play area and large pool. Very impressed with the cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast included was fantastic. The kids loved the Mickey waffles. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting the Orlando area. "
