"Doesn’t have all your amenities (gym, etc) and you have to pick up your own thing like coffee and stuff from the first or top floors, and the decor and feel is contemporary. BUT, great place to stay. Super clean. Large-ish rooms. Breakfast buffet is western and most excellently done. Hassei, the okonomiyaki dive, the one you want to go to, is a few Japanese blocks away. It’s a cab ride from the train station, a hop and a skip away from the Peace Memorial (where you must spend a half day of your visit there…). English works well. Staff are super kind. Worth giving it a try. "

The room itself was clean and the bed a very generous size and super comfortable. The Nest Hotel Hatchobori is in an excellent location too. "Again one of the good hotel finds of 2024 for me - convenient location within the Kokura station itself that allows easy access to both Shinkansen and local trains, delectable array of breakfast items and rather large room with a stunning view of the Kitakyushu Monorail. Highly recommend!"

"The location was super convenient for everything we wanted to do in Hiroshima. It was incredibly comfortable especially considering the price point. The staff were very helpful when we needed to print some Shinkansen tickets. The room, while still small, was still far more spacious than our other big city stays. Great size and layout. We also loved the bathroom. Definitely would stay here again. "
