"Quiet little bungalows with aircon, confortable beds and private bathroom. There are tables and seats on the terrasse in front of each room, very nice for lunch outside. The room was basic but quite spacious and had everything we needed as we stay 3 nights to visit Puy du Fou (5 min by car). Very convenient to get home quickly after the night shows free on site parking. "Great location for Vendee Globe activities. Parked the car when I got there and did not use it again until I left. Room was good, what I thought I would get. Only minor issues were that there didn’t seem to be much ventilation other than the window, so a shower made it extremely humid in the room, and it was hard to shower without putting a lot of water on the bathroom floor."

"We have been 'Chateau' travelers for 42 years. I cannot count the number of establishments visited. Ch Goujonnerie is 'THE' most charming Chateau we have had the priviledge to stay. It was exceptionally difficult to say goodbye after 5 nights. Isabella, Natalie AND Stephen and Michel were the most charming hosts. We will never forget their care to guests. We look forward to returning again and is a great place for a base camp if you want to visit La Rochell or Il de Re or so many other places...
