"The hotel is located in a beautiful original old monastery with excellent rooms. The staff is very friendly and professional. The surrounding space is very nice and there is large swimming pool, a must during hot summer days. Dinning is on a very high level, food is excellent and the meals are provided all day. "It is a shame that restrictions on improvements to this listed historic building mean that some amenities we take for granted in the 21st Century are not able to be provided - eg poor wi fi, no pool, no bath, no lift to upper floor (difficult stairs with luggage over 20kgs & no porter), poor tv coverage (no English speaking channel at all - not even news). "Very much enjoyed our stay in Orvieto. Affittacamere Valentina is right in the centre of the old town, close to all. When we arrived, Luis at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The room was perfect! Very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend!"
