"This is a true gem of a hotel and we felt that it was perfectly located for our needs. It is a lovely hour long riverside stroll into Oxford Our only complaint would be that you have to pay for parking on site. If parking must be made we would prefer to have the charge added to the bill rather than appear as an extra charge Every staff member was incredible and could not do enough to make our stay more pleasurable. Bonus points for having a sauna and steamroom We will be visiting again...

"Had a fab time and the staff were very friendly. We arrived at 2.30 so were told we couldn’t check in until 3 pm so we went to the bar for food and drinks. We were there until 4 so spent quite a bit then when we checked in we were then told we could have 10% off food and drink so my only suggestion would be to have this available as soon as people arrive as we had spent quite a lot. "

"Beautiful old prison…. Renovated so sympathetically into an amazing boutique hotel …all the staff are lovely and create a very relaxing atmosphere…ideally situated in the centre of Oxford… a 2 minute walk to all shops,bars and entertainment. Already booked to come back.. "
