"We chose the penthouse, because I felt like a penthouse would be good. It wasn’t. We flew late at night from the US only to learn that the penthouse was on the 5th floor and they didn’t have an elevator. This made it impossible to stop by quickly at the hotel to get a hat or quickly change a shirt. We didn’t stay. We left the same night and went and stayed at their sister property with an elevator. "The staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was perfect. Very comfortable. Very quiet. The breakfast was gorgeous. The fruit juice offered on checking in was beautiful and a nice touch. The staff were there to help in any way needed. Restaurant recommendations or places to see on foot. "Set in a lovely peaceful area 30 mins from Kathmandu. Well maintained golf course with a fabulous view of Mount Everest. Indoor pool was lovely and warm but in need of an upgrade. It is part of the Spa so kids should be allocated a set time so as to not to disturb adults using the spa and pool for relaxation. Room was huge and very comfortable.
