"The MaiTai was a delightful place to stay and beyond our expectations. It was very tidy and very clean, with gardens and nice seating. Situated in a lovely part of the island. The beach was great and had lots of conveniences. The restaurant on the waterfront was an added bonus. The rooms were cool and comfortable. Very quiet and nice views. The staff were all above and beyond. I would love to return to the MaiTai."

"The breakfast was delicious and offered so many options The lunch and dinner menu could have been a little more tastier. Over water bungalow and surrounding water was beautiful Staff was excellent -5 star and above. Snorkeling , kayak and Paddle board etc. right at the resort. A once in a lifetime vacation for myself. "I was a last minute check-in, which was a little problematic, as they had sorry of closed for the evening. I was told that this is their not busy season, but I would still expect an establishment such as that to be open past six. Minor issue with the windows, where I had to close them from outside to avoid mosquitoes. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the property is absolutely gorgeous. If not for those inconveniences I mentioned, I would have given them 5 stars across the board. "

Great stay! Clean, hotel rooms! Centrally located!

"Centrally located right across the street from the ferry about 2000 Polynesian francs for a taxi from the airport. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much but the inside is incredible. Clean comfortable and great views. You’re able to walk to shops and restaurants. If you have a rental car parking could be a challenge. They do have a parking area specifically for Kontiki boutique, but it’s an added of daily cost. Their concierge is very knowledgeable of the area and things to do. Rental scooters are available nearby. I highly recommend this place!! "
