Right in the mountains with a great views of the Tungurahua volcano, very close to the "casa del arbol " which is an unbeatable spot for the view of the volcano. Rooms are more like small bungalows , very spacious with very comfortable beds. We absolutely loved our stay there. "

"The staff was great! The amenities were great! I own a maintenance company so it is an area they need to take a look at. Our Spa tub filled VERY slowly and drained even slower. The skylight about the toilet leaked during the rain in room 26. None of these issues would prevent me from going again and I would have stayed longer if I could. However, I have bad pollen allergies and something was bothering me since it is 300 years old and has no A/C I had to leave. LOVED our Stay!"

"I was upgraded to an exceptionally beautiful room with a city like view. Exceptional service very comfortable room. Even got a bottle of wine and cookies. The breakfast was delicious great location. Price was fantastic"

"Failed to show up for airport transfer to property. We got a taxi that got lost then was unable to climb the mountain due to their road conditions. We had to climb the mountain by foot to attempt to check in but the staff had already left for the evening and failed to respond when we continued to ask for assistance. Our flight arrived at midnight and at 2am my family was still not sure where we would be staying the next 3 days/nights. Taxi driver was awesome and found us a safe place to rest...

"The floor to the front desk is an accident waiting to happen! Marble tiles with about a 4” step up/down depending on direction that is not easily discernible! To get to the elevators is a 3 or 4 step down/up depending on direction making luggage to/from room problematic. Yes, there is bell service to room. Not necessarily from room when checking out. "
