"I was impressed by all of the staff within the hotel, even when I asked if they could organise hiring a tuxedo for the evening they were able to arrange everything... Also I'm so surprised with the beautiful smells in the room/shower/ carpet was so clean like i have no enough word to describe this hotel. It’s a lovely lovely hotel."

"The hotel is situated perfectly to walk around Bowness. It was really clean and our room whilst elements are older / a bit dated, looked like had not long been redecorated so felt lovely. Breakfast was brought to your table, with a view of the lakes. Can’t fault it. Would go again. "

"The property was lovely, a little dated, the staff were lovely,beds very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, evening meal first night was really nice, the 2nd night wasn't as good, was told it was a different chef Sunday. The spa was very nice, used the sauna and steam room, the Jacuzzi and the pool. In fact the spa was really Christmasy but the hotel was rather poor with the Christmas decorations, overall I would definitely stay again."
