Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. "

"Lovely quiet village, ideal location for walkers and dogs, no shops in Portinscale only 1 pub and a cafe. We stayed in apartment- and ate at pub in Portinscale only a 15 minute walk into Keswick lovely walk. Apartment clean , everything you need . The building is Victorian, plenty of room in apartment set in lovely grounds. It is dated, and the hall entrance could do with repainting and new carpets to make it more inviting for guests.
