"This hotel was in a convenient location for my meetings. However, the actual hotel building is quite old. Check In was extremely slow - it took me a full 30 minutes from arriving at Reception to getting my room key. - there were only 2 people in front of me and there were no problems. Breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful. However, it is quite expensive so make sure that you are hungry enough to justify the breakfast buffet cost. "Everthing was great! the food at the restarant and the buffet were amazing. The bed was very confortable and the room clean. It would've been perfect, but THE ONE thing we didn't like happened wehn we left. We needed a taxi to the airport and we were told the hotel has a taxi company the work with, so they called one for us. we were told the taxi accepted card, but once we got to the airport the driver was very insistent that he wanted cash. He even asked for dollars of euros and proceded to lecture us because we didn't have cash, eventhough we were told the taxi accepted card and he the driver had a terminal with him. I WOULD STAY AT ALLEGRA LODGE AGAIN. I would just get an uber next time"
