"We recently spent 2 nights at La Reserva Virgin Lodge and there were some good things and not so great things about the lodge. "Fabulous hostel, really warm mid winter - both in the room and common areas, fireplace, the dogs were an unexpected boon! Modern rooms with excellent floor heating - exactly what you want/need after a long day out in Patagonian winter! Good food in the restaurant (arepas!), hot dishes included in the free breakfast, amazing views, reasonably-priced laundry service. Short walk to the town centre. Really friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't be happier."

"The hotel is perched on a small hill overlooking the beautiful lake, it’s a 6 min walk from the Main Street. The area is safe. We arrived at the hotel with a booking of a Mountain View, I enquired about the cost for the lake view and we got a free upgrade without asking. The staff were wonderful and friendly.
