We took an early walk to the lower trail and had the entire park almost exclusively to ourselves (other than a park ranger). 😊. "This hotel is located 3 blocks from the presidential place and the adjacent green spaces. The hotel itself is quiet. There is usually security at the door. The front desk staff are very helpful. For example in securing taxi's that will take credit card payment (which is not always possible) and telling us the cost (beware of cab scams!). Our room was a good size. The lounge was beautiful we opted to eat light meals there a couple of times and were very pleased with the food. "
