"Do me a favour and spend your money elsewhere. Booked a room for 2 persons, with breakfast buffet included, but when we had to eat breakfast it was only for one person, never said that on the reciept from Expedia. Staff was slightly rude and ignorant. The pool is made for midgets (sorry) you cant even take a swim in it. The maintenance of the hotel is poor and we even got upgraded to a suite, we had to share a towel and a bathrope, as they only give out for 1 person?!. Food was not that great...

"This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. It must be a 2 stars boutique homestay instead. Room is too small for 2 king bed. Bathroom is too small with old shower stall. Old furniture and squeaking wood floor. Felt unwelcome by the management. Definitely not happy stay and not recommend to others. "

"A’Zambezi is luxury enhanced by being on the bank of the Zambezi River. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and especially the location: having wild animals routinely wondering through the grounds (we saw Kudu and Elephants!) and watching the Zambezi River from both the restaurant and the balconies of our rooms makes this one of the best places I have ever stayed. "Great one night stay and location was good. No secure parking but it's a safe neighborhood. Will stay again The only thing I can say is that the person underneath our apartment had a braai outside and when we opened our room window the whole room was flooded with smoke. I would suggest braai at designated area. "
