"The town of Wustrow itself does not have too much to offer other than a good beach. However, this hotel is really something special . The food on offer is superb and the breakfast selection is exceptional. Of the five hotels visited during our trip this one was absolutely top notch in the food stakes. Room was spacious and immaculately clean. Balconies are looking a little tired .The friendliness of the staff at this hotel was also very commendable "

"This was our first visit to this part of Germany and everything about the holiday was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and to be able to cycle so much to explore the countryside and small villages made it special. "Haus Windhook - Holiday Home Seeblick 2: Schöne Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung, tolle Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf die Ostsee. Einzig die Mücken waren etwas nervig. An den meisten Fenstern waren Fliegengitter angebracht, an der Terrassentür jedoch nicht. Frühstücksbuffet hätte etwas mehr Abwechslung bietne können - hätte mir noch etwas Gemüse und regionale Fischspezialitäten gewünscht. Rührei gibt's auf Anfrage - wurde uns allerdings zu spät gesagt. Daumen hoch, gern wieder!"

Die Betten waren fest und wir haben prima geschlafen. Alle Wohnungen sind nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt, maximal vielleicht 200 m. "A truly outstanding property, certainly one of the best along the Baltic coast. Nice that it is medium-sized, with very friendly staff that we soon got to know more closely. It is located right by the beach and with high standards throughout, without being too ritzy. AWESOME cakes at their restaurant! And great they have an electric vehicle charger (for a fee). It's Adults only though."

"Bra boende, men lite väl hårda sängar. Saknade en bäddmadrass och lite fastare kuddar. Tråkigt nog fanns det inga restauranger öppna i närheten då det är lågsäsong, fick till slut bli take away. Hade gärna sett varma, kokta ägg till frukost. Fanns bara kalla ägghalvor."

"The room was disappointing in that it was too warm during the time of year we visited (August) as no air conditioning. The window opened only a tiny bit. There is parking at the front of the hotel, but not too many spaces. We ate in the restaurant which was nothing to write home about. I did not notice any internet connection in the room, and feel this is vital for most travellers these days. The hotel is not near the marina, so you'd have to drive if you wanted to be in that part of...

"Tolles Apartment...tolle Gegend...wer es ruhige mag ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben.... würde jederzeit wieder die Unterkunft buchen."

"In dem Tiny House hatten wir zu dritt genug Platz und alles was wir im Alltag benötigten war vorhanden. Die Dachterasse mit dem Blick zum Bodden ist für eine entspannte Auszeit super. Sobald das Areal komplett fertig ist, kommen wir gern nochmal."

"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, The manager (also the chef) provided personal service and the meals were excellent. The staff were always supportive and friendly. My room was well appointed with a fridge, TV, free WiFi with daily housekeeping. Breakfast was good. Parking out front was good. My focus was visiting Barth and the regions and Hotel Carmina am See was centrally located for me. I could not fault this hotel and strongly recommend to travellers. "
