"Quiet & pretty grounds. Clearly quite something back in its day but the rooms are tired, dirty & need refurbishing. No basic house keeping (not even replacement clean coffee cups, bins changed) due to skeleton staff, or may be no staff. Did feel more like a hostel than hotel which is a real shame given the property history. On a positive food was reasonable & interaction with staff we did see was friendly. "
