"If you're African-American this is the HONEST review for you. The area is very calm, quiet, and safe. Plethora of restaurants to chose from in the area, BUT the food doesn't have the richest flavors, but still good. If you're a walker, the action is literally a 10-15 minute walk away, and a 5 minute Uber ride ($3 MAX). The hotel staff is nice, the housekeepers are respectful, and do an excellent job at cleaning. The rooftop is beautiful. The pool isn't big, but it's not heavily occupied, and has a nice view. I did the balcony regular room which was sufficient enough for 1 person. 2 is a stretch because it's very "cozy". Overall, 10/10 stay for what you're paying for. Definitely returning here when I come back. "

"Excellent service and staff. The breakfast buffet its really good. Our favorite part is the smoothie /Juice station, Diana makes the best smoothies. The have a large fruit variety to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel. Worth the $$$$ Also the taxi drivers outside the hotel are very helpful and will take you any where in the city. "

"Beautiful property. It was our refuge each day. The pool was so nice and such a great break from all the vendors on the beach while still getting the ocean view. Our room was clean. It was perfect. My only advice is to stay away from Playa CastilloGrande. We got scammed by guys there giving us a ride to Tierra Bomba, particularly Playa Linda. Don't do it..no matter how nice they are when selling. You won't experience the samw niceness when they bring you back and ask for double or triple the money. Of course that's not related the hotel. Our stay there was spectacular. "

"I just really enjoyed my stay and they made everything. Easy check-in was great. Got into my room and the TV had issues when I first got in, so I just called the front desk and they took care of it. The same day I went on to go eat, and came back with a working TV. Food. Options were good and the customer service. When they came in to deliver. The food was also really well."
