Hotels with parking in Colchester, England

"Clean, comfortable and friendly"

"The hotel itself is very good, the staff were very friendly and helpful and as it was Xmas they gave us a hand written Christmas card and there was complimentary mulled wine in the bar. What we were not aware of was the parking charges!!!! If you are NOT a IHG member then the parking was £16 for an overnight stay. It was only when I checked in and was told it was free for members. By this point I had already paid it. I am a IHG member which I had forgot about but the hotel couldn’t refund me...

"This is a great hotel. Upgraded to a lovely small suite with an amazing bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Breakfasts were super quality and delicious, although the breakfast tables are not dressed with a cloth and the old sticky scarred leatherette tabletops were a surprising lapse. We pre-requested through the app ‘no feathers’ in the pillows - this was missed, but corrected next morning. Finally, parking is not well signposted (suggest put Foresters Arms in satnav) "

"Wonderful very old building with very helpful friendly staff. A building this old can’t be in perfect condition but they do their best. Very helpful with food when we were a little late arriving."
