"I recently stayed at Casa del Jaguar Beach Hotel for four nights, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The staff stood out the most—they were incredibly attentive and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. We encountered a couple of minor issues during our visit, such as malfunctioning bracelets for room access and a hair dryer that stopped working, but the staff resolved both problems quickly and efficiently. "It was me and my partners first time coming to Isla Mujeres, and we had a great time staying at Ixchel. I really wanted to be at a hotel right on the beach and that's what we got. We spent 3 days lounging in the beach chairs and wading in the ocean. The hotel's restaurant comes to wait on you so we were able to have drinks and lunch without leaving. Prices at the restaurant are like typical US prices. The room we had was nice and clean. We appreciated the large shower with the drying line in it. Through our window we could see the beach and hear the waves. The AC was nice and cold, which felt great coming in from all the heat and humidity. The staff were very kind and helpful. They helped up book a taxi when we wanted to go down to Punta Sur for sunrise. Location can't be beat. The hotel is right at the end of Hidalgo, the main street with shops and restaurants. Very easy to find walking from the ferry and easy to go try out other restaurants in the area."

Lovely hotel with delicious Margaritas!

"We loved this hotel- the location is just perfect so close to Playa Norte but also in a quieter spot. The views from the pool earlier were beautiful. The exterior of the hotel was really well thought out, not too concrete jungle like many others and a beautiful swimming pool. The beds are super comfortable! The only negative was our shower was cold and was no much more than a dribble. "

"The beach was beautiful and the favourite part of our trip! Even though the sandy area was small there was always enough loungers and the staff were willing to grab more if needed and would put up an umbrella if you wanted one. Many areas to snorkel and see fish. Staff would bring food and drinks to you while on the beach. The food was good and if you didn’t like any of the options you could get something made on the grill. Breakfast was the best. We loved the staff, most were super friendly and went above and beyond! We especially loved Kimberly, Eduardo, and Nicholas! My biggest complaint would be that they had a lot of bikes but only a few of them worked and that there were a few areas of the resort under construction while we were there ie. one restaurant and a bridge recently destroyed by a hurricane. Secondly I’m happy to say they weren’t overly pushy but still pushy enough to to try to get you into their VIP rewards program right after checking in. We just wanted to go to our room and not listen to someone convince us of their VIP membership (for almost an hour.) We ended up being super firm and they didn’t bother us for the rest of our time there. "

"This place had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay on the island. They provided beach chairs and umbrella which was perfect. They provided drinking water as well as coffee and a coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner worked fantastic. We felt they thought of all the little things that some other places lack. My only concern was that if you don’t have WiFi then communication can be tricky for checking in. He answered very quickly when I messaged but I’m from Canada and don’t have a WiFi plan on my phone so I had to try to find somewhere that had WiFi to see his message. Once checked in though, the place exceeded our expectations. "
