"Lovely place, friendly staff and excellent location Unfortunately the wall between rooms was so thin I could hear every moment of my neighbour all night. Also the pillows are terrible- made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. I appreciate you can’t do anything about the soundproofing in such a lovely old building but the pillows are a very cheep easy fix Would stay again but not whilst working! "

"I had a great stay here. I checked in late in the day however staff still showed great support welcoming me. My room was very clean and was decorated beautifully. The room had a great tea and coffee station and the bathroom featured a selection on lovely shower products. "

"Good location - staff friendly and helpful - room lightening very dull to read anything only bathroom light bright - no lifts only stairs - beds were small I was frightened to turn over incase I fell out of bed - seems an old building g needs a refurb to modernise it - windows didn’t open to stay open enough to get signing and radiators in a timer room very warm- otherwise it served the purpose glad we only stayed 1 night "

The room was very quaint and comfortable and the price included a fabulous cooked breakfast. Only minutes walk from town so perfect for exploring Chester. Overall a little gem."

"One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. The management and staff couldn’t be more helpful during our stay right from checking in to having a bite to eat and a few drinks in the bar. Need to say, the meal we had was professionally cooked and...
