"The Guanabara is a very good hotel in Rio. It is in the Center and the business district. Clean and nice facilities. The only negative is it is a long way from the tourist district, if you are interested in taking advantage of any of the tour companies or famous beaches. "

"Everything Orbitz will sell you there is someone already done it... Living Hotel is near everything , beach ,shopping, subway, Bus transportation- Copacabana is 5min bus ride and way less expensive than a hotel there"

"The staff are so helpful, we enjoyed our stay. We couldn't speak portuguese but the always found us someone to speak english or spanish. The area around is relatively safe, but not soo comfortable to walk at night, as there are homeless people. Front desk werre always helpful in getting us taxis. Rooms were clean. "
