Changxing Island hotel rooms a the Jinjiang Inn

"Considering how cheap it was it was excellent. Very clean, big room with a comfy bed. I’ve stayed in worse places that were 10 times the price! It’s a little walk (15 mins) to the subway but it’s a nice stroll. "

"Internet connection was too weak to use in the room. Even though the website stated they had an iron and ironing board, when I requested this the staff said "we used to have one, but it's gone now." Only one in the whole hotel? Also, for the deposit, the staff charged me 200rmb on my credit card, rather than simply placing a hold. This is mildly annoying as now I have to wait a week or two for the charges to be reversed. "

"We've stayed at a couple of different Jinjiangs on Changing Road and this one is better than the other. The rooms are very clean and the staff very accommodating (its seems like many even speak some English). They have pretty fast wired internet which is nice given how slow it is in most budget hotels in China. The beds are very comfortable by Chinese standards. "This hotel must not exist, or its a scam... because I booked 4 nights but the taxi cannot find this hotel at all, and at 3:30 a.m. in the morning it was very frustrating, that finally the driver drop us off in a different hotel, which luckily this hotel is part of the Expedia listings. We are very greatfull that the Expedia customer service whom I called did what was right to provide an excellent service to their customer like me that was very very mad..
