"Nice hotel in great neighborhood. Could use a spa/pool and some complimentary b-fast items. Night male desk clerk told me zero about any hotel amenities, nor restaurant hours, and when I asked about any late late food options upon my late arrival, he was unwilling to share anything and told me to google. "It was clean with plenty of towels and hot water. Great mattress. Didn't have a coffee maker but was available in lobby. What more can you ask when it's less than 100 a night "

"I've stay at this hotel often when in town and I give it a 5 star rating, but this particular time was rough. It was over the Christmas holiday and I am in town visiting family. When I checked into the room I was shocked it was not cleaned. Sink full of dishes and counter had clean materials on it and oven was greasy. No towels or anything in bathroom, missing shower curtain and the bed was not made/ missing linen. The woman at the front desk quickly accommodated me with another room which was...

"Very pet friendly, which is important to us, given that we have two dogs. Alan Webb, the host, has a cockatoo, which the dogs loved and which we loved also. Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park. Good breakfasts and good amenities in the room, with Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv with streaming, and good wi-fi."
