"I might say you get what you pay for. Normally I stay at Nomada Beach hostel, but since I was on a shoestring I went the budget route with Casa Santurce. It was a low key place but the bunk rooms are cramped, and their is no kitchen. For a few dollars more at Nomada you get a pool, a nice kitchen, much better showers, and many different sitting areas. I'd suggest that Casa Santurce make this more cooking friendly, and also provide a few more places to sit."

"The service was horrible. I didn’t even stay there. They was rude before I got there. Try to charge extra charges on me for checking in. I contacted customer service and customer service told me that I couldn’t get my refund back. What a waste of time with them and you. "

"The staff was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The place is not very well maintained. Mosquitoes ripped me to shreds in the bathroom and bedroom. There were roaches in the bathroom at night. The bed was not very comfortable. Although the staff was great, I would not stay here again. "

"Although this property was centrally located, well stocked, clean and roomy, it provided a unique layout that could cause some problems for older folks or those with mobility issues, as well as young children. Great place for younger larger group. Climb up long flight of winding stairs with suitcases proved challenging for some in our party. "

"Great location for shopping, restaurants, historic sites. Room and building were spotless. Nice decor, nice plants. Bed and linens were deluxe. Lovely shower with thick towels. A second bar of soap, and a shelf or something in the shower would be helpful. Would be nice to have water glasses and a coffee maker. Shower drain is slow so I was worried about a backup, but it did drain. Would happily return."
