"Island Sun Inn may not be a boutique hotel, and it's certainly not 5-star. But the property and rooms are clean, the pool is heated, the shower was great. Most of all, the staff - ALL OF THEM - are helpful and kind and just wonderful. It's close to beaches and close to shopping. I would stay here again!!"

"Vey enjoyable. Great location. Was clean, cozy and comfortable. As with many properties in Sarasota, some repairs still underway after the hurricanes (we visited in March 2025). Would stay again and would recommend."
