"There were some issues, but the staff worked diligently to remedy them. So, while there were aspects of the stay that were below expectations, the diligence of the hotel in addressing them goes a long way. For that, the hotel wins my kudos and turned something negative into a positive! "

"A mixed experience at the villas. The villas sit within the boutique hotel grounds which is partnered with the main hotel. You can use all of the facilities for both with a small gym at the boutique and pools at both. The resort was pretty quiet so no issues sitting at the pool with sunbeds, the weather was poor so we tried to find other things to do but were limited. A games room might have been nice. "Our stay at Sea'Ya was phenomenal. Communication pre-arrival was excellent and check-in was smooth. Our hosts, Maria and Antonio, thoughtfully put out toys for the children (3 year old and 6 months old) already, so they went straight to play. What a welcome! The apartments are beautifully furnished, have all the amenities you might need, and work just so well for young families. "Love this resort, we did enjoy it at its off season; the weather was mild at the end of November and only got 1 rainy day. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have a lovely 2 bedroom suite and kitchen and living rm, the only thing I would have to say is that we kept having issue with internet and that was do to the room’s router which they replace a day after we arrived."

"Very spacious home that’s close enough to the beach to walk (the way back would be all up hill), but you’re better off takin an Uber for $2-3 Euros each way. The home is immaculately maintained and has everything you could need to include English TV channels. Only downside and it’s small is, the shower is great, but it’s hard to keep the water inside because the shower pressure causes the shower head to rise up spraying water out. "Great hospitality…Luisa is an attentive hostess and makes you feel comfortable, and makes it clear that whatever you need to make your stay enjoyable to just ask. Everything about this stay was outstanding. Bed was very comfortable and place is very quiet. Suggest you get a car because its not a very walkable area close to a lot, but there is a grocery store within 10 minute walk and a couple of very good restaurants, however you can spend 3-4€ with BOLT or UBER and you’re at Cascais Train...

"The hotel is nice and everything is good taken care off, but we were not informed that the check in needed to be early and the person helping seemed to be in a bad mood, did not smiled at all and didn’t seem to like customer care."

"There was no one working at the hotel. Doors were locked and you had to have a cold to get in. Neither Expedia or the hotel gave me a cold. I did not stay because I couldn’t get in and had to go to another hotel. I will be filing a claim to be reimbursed, absolutely terrible experience, considering being in a foreign country where I did not speak the language plus I have poor visibility/poor vision. "

"This is a comfortable and very well run hotel. The staff are polite, professional and very well trained. Even though they provide an airport shuttle, the hotel is just an easy 7 or 8 minute walk from terminal 1 at the Lisbon Airport. If I were passing through this airport again and needed a hotel at the airport, I would stay ant the Melia again without hesitation. And, the price was very reasonable. "

"My stay was very pleasant. I got housekeeping every with fresh linen. The fitted sheet, pillow case and the duvet covers were changed everyday. The staff were courteous and friendly. They allowed me to check in early with no additional costs because they saw that I was tired from traveling for the last 24 hours. Room service was great. The bathroom and bedroom were cleaned to my standard. I would stay here again"

"So my wife and I have stayed in some great hotels in europe and I have to say, the attention to detail and knowledge of the staff in this hotel puts other hotels to shame. the staff went far and beyond. Excellent service, clean and quiet hotel. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. It was our first time in Portugal and thanks to this hotel, I can say we have a place to stay when we visit Lisbon next time."
