"Walkable to and from downtown monterey, cannery road, to the aquarium. The room was nice and well lit, plenty of sunlight in the morning, bathroom was spacious, room was spacious. The only negative this to say is the room had plenty of furniture, an extra random side table against a connecting door. "

"The large family room is perfect for us. My kids love the indoor pool. Wish the hot tub was bigger and cleaner. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff seem to work hard and do a good job making sure both the inside of the rooms and outside areas are kept tidy. "

"The bed was super comfortable and the staff was friendly and responded to our needs quickly. Carmel is a beautiful place and this hotel was a super cute place to stay. I think it was a very fair price for the quality we got. The Continental breakfast was good, there wasn't a lot of variety, but what was there was good quality."

"We a family of 4 had a great stay. Location is very convenient, everything is walkable. Breakfast at the hotel had brilliant ocean views and service was exceptional. Room was clean and had a bigger bathroom. Its a rare thing to have a great stay in hotels these days."

"Clean rooms, great bedding and the fireplace was a nice touch. Would come back and request a room in a different building with better view. 5 mins from beach in car, about 20 min walk. Only bag breakfast which was a bummer, since I paid extra for continental and that isn’t offered there. Don’t upgrade "
