"Phuket Panwa is a great hotel in a quiet and scenic location. A stretch to call it 5-stars, but it would certainly make a great 4-star hotel. The rooms were dated, but very comfortable. When you have sea facing rooms, just know there's high & low tides. When it's high tide, the view is scenic and serene, takes your mind away from reality. The breakfast buffet has a great selection of your usual international and local fares. The small private beach could certainly do with some garbage pick ups,...

"it is conveniently located from the Phuket airport. You can literally wall to the airport. Beds are comfortable and almirah/storage space is good. It has an active pub on the ground floor where you can listen to live to some of the local bands. The only downside is they charge for towel :("
