"I will definitely return to this hotel. You will not beet the top notch service from the valet parking to check-in to food service by the pool! Great longe and happy hour. Beautiful (and busy ) pool area and huge hot tub. Plenty of tables and poolside lounge chairs. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet, other than the sound of guests by the pool. However, with the sliding glass doors shut, even that was quiet. The balcony is large with two chairs and a table. They do have rooms overlooking the other side of the Marina on the restaurant side, that side gets full sun. I chose the poolside, marina view. Lots of space to walk along the Marina and plenty of restaurants nearby. It is a very quick drive to Venice Beach or Santa Monica Pier as well. Whether you want to lounge poolside or get out a bit this is the place to treat yourself. Also, June through August is Sunday Funday by the pool. Tacos and DJ music till 6 pm. It was a really fun atmosphere. The rest of the days were very peaceful. I recommend this hotel as a fantastic vacation experience. "

"As we drove up to the entrance we were warmly greeted by the valet. He helped us u load the car and the bellman was right there ready to take our bags up to the room. Check in was easy and fast, and the staff at the desk were warm and friendly, letting us know how happy they were to have us. First impressions of the room it was clean nicely decorated, and I love the bathroom. The water was hot and lasted that way for everybody who stayed in the room. It smelled great and the linens were clean every single time we left to go somewhere somebody was right there to tell us have a good day or to help us get our car. I come to Universal at least once every year and I will definitely be staying here again."

"Very nice and safe facility. The only issue we had was that the hotel store pay out machine was not working and the vending machine was also not working so we had zero snacks and drinks during our first night. We did walk down a few blocks the next day to get goodies from the gas station"
