Disappointing Experience Despite Nice Amenities
Our experience at this hotel was disappointing. It looks stunning online, but we were surprised upon arrival. We paid extra for a swim-up room, only to find heavy construction right in front of our room that woke us up every morning. Despite our complaints, they refused to change our room.
After flying in tired and hungry from the States, the front desk staff sat us down to sell us additional services for over an hour, even though we repeatedly said we weren’t interested and just wanted to rest and eat.
The bellhop mishandled our airport shuttle reservation, and when we asked for help, they tried to upsell us on an overpriced taxi instead of resolving the issue. We ended up booking an Uber ourselves. The concierge’s dismissive response—"wait in line"—was particularly frustrating.
To be fair, the service staff, such as the waiters, were fantastic, and the food, amenities, and overall service were good. However, the front desk and sales team ruined what could have been a great stay.
I recommend looking elsewhere; there are plenty of better options in the area.
