"The location of Old Hall is excellent and this needs to be factored into the price you pay compared to other nearby hotels and the quality of them. Breakfast is fresh and tasty with enough variety and this is included in the price, which many aren't. This hotel offers comfort, my bed was fine, room was spacious. Floor are unlevel, of course they are, it is an old hotel, it has character reminiscent of days past, yes it's worn and needs renovation but to upgrade to meet everybody's needs...

"We had a nice two night stay at the hotel in a compact double. It was definitely compact with just enough room to move round the bed but that was okay. Maybe if they removed the bath fro the shower room and had just the shower it would make more room. The room was too warm and it was quite and effort to open the window as these were heavy sash windows and I had to prop it open with a shoe. Unfortunately we backed on to the ventilation system which was going all night. The breakfast was very...
