"What a lovely stay. We only spent a night here, but had a great view of the pier, it was in a quiet part but not far from everything. The room was very warm (without the heating being), but had a fan in the cupboard which we used. It smelt really nice in there too, with the plug in, which was a nice touch. "To be honest, I had a load of misgivings about this place, because I only read the reviews AFTER I booked and paid for it! The mixture of 2-stars and 5-stars made it tricky to know what to expect, and there was a lot of trepidation when we rocked up to the gaff. Turns out it was fine. The Chekin website they encourage you to use was an absolute dumpster fire, but thankfully not necessary. We had calls prior to our visit reassuring us that it'd be fine and had an email on the day showing us...

"We stayed in a lovely room which was an upgrade from our original booking at no extra charge it was very clean and fresh with quality bedding and towels lovely extra touches too, the owners were very welcoming we had only booked one night we were visiting our daughter so didn't stay for breakfast but it looked tasty, will definitely book on our next visit "
