"The reception was difficult to find with poor signage and the front wentrance is not the entrance. The carpark is fairly well lit once you know where to go and the condition of the second building / actual hotel was in a reasonable condition. Check-in was straightforward with lifts up to the room. On arraval at the room we were greated with a hot room unfortunately the air conditioning did not work and windows are fixed closed (sign says use air-conditioning to regulate heat). "Lovely night away, room was on small side and was a bit tired but very clean. Nice toiletries and a jar of sweeties was a lovely touch on the tea tray. Comfortable bed and loved the lift, old fashioned but it worked, great to have in the Hotel. Breakfast was really good as was the lovely staff. " Staff very friendly and friendly with each other, menu very poor, food apart from lobster was very good. Dining was very expensive for what you got. Cleanliness in hotel was very good, bedroom not so, went to make a coffee only to find the kettle disgusting, the spout was even full of dried sediment. Stayed here 20 months ago and I'm afraid the hotel has gone down and the prices up. Don't think it should be classed as five star anymore. Which is a shame because it is a beautiful place."
