Stunning property! The online pics doesn’t give you the whole impression of this villa. The staff are warm and inviting! It even has a chapel in the villa. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else while visiting braganca. It’s across from the castle. Walkable to center of town and a wonderful very affordable breakfast! Free parking one block away.

What a lovely property! Stunning. The pictures online does not give the whole beautiful feel of the place. Across from the castle. Walkable to center of town. Wonderful wonderful beautiful staff. Great and very affordable breakfast. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

What a find! I am almost reluctant to review this very special place but it's safe to say you will not regret booking on of the five bedrooms. Our was very large, with a separate sitting room and access to the cloister overlooking the lovely garden.

Fabulous accommodation, perfect location, just below the Citadel! Beautiful suite, everything spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The old historic building has been renovated to the highest of standards. our host was perfect, very professional and helpful. He presented us with a FIVE STAR breakfast, ALL INCLUSIVE OF THE VERY REASONABLE PRICE. THANK YOU, WE WILL RETURN!

The place is similar to a bed and breakfast more than a typical hotel. Parking is off-site but there is parking close by. The place is close to the town center - plenty of dining and cafe options.

Just a lovely and unique property with a very special good feel. The grounds and shared balcony were added extras. The breakfast spread was home made and yummy. All great value for money too. We had dinner in the castle which was also very good.

It's a grand old house that's been lovingly restored. Lots of granite and timber. The service was very personal. It's worth visiting Braganca just to stay there.

Hard to find. There’s nothing outside to say it’s a hotel. Wooden floors mean anyone walking upstairs will create loud, disturbing sounds. Hot water takes forever to flow. A strange place. Feels like a haunted house at night.

Beautiful manor house centrally located
We received a warm welcome and were invit d to use the dining room for general use and access the fridge if we liked. The young man whisked our bags up to the first floor. The heating in our room worked very well.. while the balcony was gassed in it was cooler but fine for reading. There was a heater there if we had chosen to use it.The building was built in the 1700’s so was not centrlfly heated but was decorated in classic period.m
