"There’s a lot to like about the Lilianfels - classic old hotel feel, spacious rooms, courteous staff, excellent breakfast, and a great location for accessing nearby hiking trails and one main detraction - the property shows its age in a couple of ways (the carpet in our hotel room was somewhat threadbare, the skirt on the bed was partially shredded and the carpet in the “studio room” adjacent to the exercise room was filthy). "This hotel has an old charm but was as clean & new feeling as they come! The bed was very comfortable, rooms seemed to be newly renovated, bathroom was bright! We played tennis on the free court with a beautiful blue Mountain View, and drank a delicious ginger mojito whilst admiring the views! Would definitely come back "
